This one is inspired by greatness. For a limited run, Smith & Wesson is producing a revolver modeled after the wheelgun Jerry Miculek used on last year’s world record shooting performance. The Performance Center S&W Model 327 WR brings serious champion DNA!
S&W Model 327 WR Details
This 327 WR, designed in partnership with arguably the greatest revolver shooter of all time, the 327 WR feature set aims to deliver speed and accuracy. The lightweight 9mm handgun builds off a scandium N-Frame. It features a titanium cylinder, aiding fast, precise target transitions. A brass bead front sight pairs with an adjustable rear sight picture. But it also comes with a Vortex COMPDOT mounted via the C.O.R.E. optic-plate system. JM Signature laminated wood grips round out this impressive package.
“Crafted from the blueprint of shooting excellence, the new Model 327 WR is more than just a high-performance firearm–it’s a legacy. With modern upgrades to an already trusted platform, Jerry’s new signature revolver is a tribute to the mastery of precision and the art of sports shooting perfected by Jerry himself,” said Corey Beaudreau, Product Manager, Smith & Wesson.
Back in October, Jerry set the shooting world on fire when he accomplished the unthinkable. The legend set a new handgun world record, putting rounds on six steel targets in a remarkable 1,88 seconds. The performance took place at the S&W Headquarters Grand Opening in Tennessee. Miculek set two NRA World Records that day with a Model 327 WR prototype.
The Performance Center Model 327 WR includes an eight-round capacity and 5-inch ported, stainless steel barrel. It utilizes a smooth double-action trigger. Limited to a release of just 1,880 units, reflecting the incredible 1.88-second time, the revolver ships in a custom Pelican hard case with included accessories.
